Blue Dragon
I first heard about this game while watching the Play! Concert in the Rosemont Theater in Chicago, IL, with AG. The music didn’t make too much of an impression on me, but the telltale mark of Akira Toriyama, creator of the legendary Dragonball series, did make an impression.
Here is some gamplay footage. One of the characters looks like the “Great Saiya Man” character from Dragonball Z.
Lost Odyssey
Here’s yet another example of how your characters will never be as cool as they are in a pre-rendered cutscene. Pretty game. I’d be more interested in it if I didn’t see the cliched entrance of the main character coming in, killing a thousand guys with little to no effort, and then switching to gameplay where apparently the main character has forgotten all of those bad-ass skills. Nice transitions though.
