Use Your EV-DO Pocket PC Phone for Internet Access

Finally. I’ve been waiting for this for a loooong time.  Of course, I’ve waited so long that I’ve cancelled my Unlimited Data package from Verizon.  Now the question is: is it worth doing this setup or is it better to get one of those EV-DO Express (or PCMCIA) cards?

  1. I’d go with a card but that would mean you’d be paying for another “Line” on your Mobile service.

  2. Also, PCMCIAs are on the way out. Express cards are the way to go.

  3. I got it to work with Bluetooth, but not with USB. Odd.  I can connect at 115 kbps.  Reminds me of the good old dial-up modem days. :)
