Poking at the Hornets’ Nest?

Apparently the U.S. is engaging in a brand-new tactic against Kim John Il of North Korea.  Seems like petty playground tactics to me.  What do you guys think?

Too much?  Naaah.  I imagine a Nintendo Wii controller would be more useful than a standard mouse here.

Tank Chair

All this needs are mount-points for the missile-launcher, machine-gun and laser.  Introducing accessibility to nature for the disabled is great, but you have to wonder what kind of potential damage will be done with a bunch of these rolling through forests and such.

Real-Life Master Sword from Zelda

Welcome back from Thanksgiving, everyone!  I hope everyone had their fill of turkey and stuffing and irate Black Friday shoppers.

I’d like to start off this week with a real-life Master Sword!  Enjoy!

HDMI… Something I found out while shopping for PS3 Accessories

Holy Crap!!!

This little Cable takes care of Hi-Def Video & 7.1 Surround Sound.

Imagine, 2 or 3 HDMI Cables can replace almost half the cables that go in and out of this…

Talk about Consolidation!!!

So…

PS3 or HDMI DVD Player
to
Speaker—Speaker—Speaker—Receiver—Speaker—Speaker—Speaker
to
Monitor

Minus the Speaker cables, That’s 2 HDMI Cables as apposed to 2 Component, 1 Fiber Optic and 1 RCA Cable

I’m sure there are better ways to spend your hard-earned cash.  I think the funniest thing here is that, like the article says, it’s still cheaper than a PS3.

PS3 Die-hard Lured Away to PC Realm… FOREVER

Filed under: Games and Gaming — Mike @ 11:11 am

With all the hype that Bernard started with his purchase of a PS3, I just had to post this story.  The guy pictured above signed away his right to ever own a PS3… ever.  What did he get in exchange?  A $7500 PC gaming rig complete with 30″ LCD.

Fair trade?  What do you think?

Not your Dad’s 007

Filed under: Movies — xraytech @ 8:37 pm

Gone are the many Signature 007 Clichés

That’s right!!!

No more “Floating White Dot Thingie” at the very beginning of the movie.

No more Silhouettes of naked women during the opening credits.

No more “Q” which also means,

No more Ashton Martins armed to the gills with machine guns and rocket launchers.

No more explosives remotely triggered by Double 0 standard issue Omega Watches.

No more Vodka Martini… Shaken, not stirred.

No more Evil Henchmen ala “Jaws” and “Oddjob”

Also,

No more, “Dum da da da dum dum dum dum, Dum da da da dum dum dum dum…”

What does this mean?
