4 Years ago I was at Oakland airport and my cellphone had a really bad signal. I was on my way to Atlanta and needed some info from my boss. Used one of the payphones in the terminals which took credit card.
Before that, I would say I haven’t used a payphone since the pager days (1999?)

The last time I used one was back in the Pacific Bell days. I think that’s about 4-5 years ago.
