Morning Cup O' Joe

Time you enjoy wasting isn't wasted time.

Then & Now… What was your very first Portable MP3 Player

Then
and Now

Funny thing is, I think I used the 64MB Rio more often back then. Maybe because I had to constantly swap music back and forth from my computer, which back then only had a 20GB hard drive.

Now my 60GB iPod Video spends most of its time chillin’ in its recharging base.

  1. My first project for work was writing mp3 player drivers, so I had a rio500, rio600, creative nomadII, and a couple others whose names I can’t recall. This was back in 2001. I didn’t actually purchase one until last year when I got my iPod Shuffle 1GB. I’ve seen regressed in players with my new $14 refurbished Sandisk 512MB mp3 player. My favorite thing about it, besides not worrying about losing it, is that I don’t need iTunes to put music on it.

Oh, and I also designed a not-so portable mp3 player for my senior project :)
