“Torrent” has ensconced itself as a verb into everyday vernacular along with Google and Xerox. Being the P2P de facto standard for “friends of the internet” file sharing, BitTorrent has worked its way into the hearts and minds of nerds everywhere.
Now, BitTorrent has made a deal with major Hollywood studios for movie distribution. How do you think this will affect the “pirate” market? Will BitTorrent go the way of Napster?
