The New Face of Competitive Eating

Natsuko Sone is a petite 21-year-old who stands 5′ 4″ tall and weighs just 95 pounds. But she can eat 183 pieces of sushi in half an hour and down 20 pounds of food in one sitting.
Competitive eating is big in Japan. Wired has a great story on Natsuko Sone (pictured above). In one of the videos, you might recognize Takeru Kobayashi, the 5-time winner of the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating contest.
Hiroshima Aftermath
The above photo shows the outline of a person who was incinerated in Hiroshima. Regardless of what could’ve happened if the bombs weren’t dropped, history should always take into account as many perspectives as possible. This I believe.
