Morning Cup O' Joe

Time you enjoy wasting isn't wasted time.

Man… I’m just a gluton for punishment…

… when it comes to “Early Adoption”

I just installed Adobe Photoshop CS3 Beta on my laptop.

Just in case you haven’t been keeping up, I have Windows Vista and Photoshop CS3 “Beta” on my laptop? I’m just asking for something real bad to happen. ;D

Anyways for you Photoshop fans out there, here’s what’s new in CS3

  1. I’m really interested in the Improved “Photomerge” Automation.

Also the new interface. Gone are the floating palettes that obstruct your view, replaced by collapsable pallettes.

  2. The preveious “Photomerge” on CS2 caused artifacts that need to be removed using a combination of “Clone Stamp” & “Healing Brush”. CS3 does a better job of blending the edges. You just select the folder which contains the images to be stitched and just let ‘Photomerge” do its thing. Aside from removing dust artifacts from the final image, these two Panoramics were relatively untouched.
