It’s basically a “Leaned Out” version of Adobe Photoshop. But “Leaned Out” does not mean crippled as is the case with Photoshop Elements.
Lightroom is for photographers who deal with insanely large number of images. It’s a workflow tool that organizes, processes, fixes, prints, and shares. While keeping RAW images (digital negatives) untouched. Which makes sence to those Pro Photogs where Turnover is the key to being profitable.
