I saw this japanese show on the G4 channel recently. It’s pretty cool. Basically it’s an obstacle course in japan that people with different backgrounds and experience are trying to accomplish.
Portrait Professional Retouching Software
I find this kind of creepy. I see myself as somewhat of a purist when it comes to photography. Sure, if my clients request a scratch to be removed, or there’s a pink beach ball that was unavoidable, I’ll take the extra steps to remove them.
The thing that creeps me out about this software though, is that it can potentially change the shape and facial features of a person to more closely match the “golden ratio”. You’ll come out with in idealized version of the person. That is appealing to a lot of people, but I feel it’s just untrue. Enhanced Reality Cell Phone Games
I think this will be an interesting foray in the gaming world. These games make use of your cell phone’s camera to provide backdrops for the game.
The game detects changes in the camera display to sense how you’re
moving in its own 3D world. So if there’s a nasty behind you, turning
round will bring it into view.
