ugh… sounds unnecessarily twisted.
Takashi Miike is really creative with this genre. He made so many horror/gory flicks that it isn’t funny, but all of them worth watching. Ichi the Killer
I can already see Hollywood “Butchering” it (pun so intended) with an American adaptation.
Takashi Miike owns this genre hands down. Any American adaptation is going to not be up to par, since American cencorship is going to fut it up. I love Miike’s movie, the first one I watch was Ichi the Killer!
