Color on the web

I stumbled across a pair of interesting websites dealing with colors.  I found both of these sites fascinating and thought I’d share with you guys.

The first is colr.org.  This website will examine a photo or website of your choosing and generate a color scheme off of what it finds.

The second is kuler.adobe.com.  Adobe has put together a snazzy color design tool and made it available for all to use.

  1. Hey, thanks for the note :) Glad you found colr.org useful. I’d be interested to know more about things you liked about kuler.adobe.com.

  2. Hi Lloyd. It’s great to hear from the site author. Does anyone help you with the site, or is it just you?

I liked the create area of kuler.adobe.com. I especially like the ability to apply specific color rules (Triad, Complementary, etc). Of course, their color picking widget makes for nice eye candy. I see your site and kuler to be complementary to each other.
