Facial Recognition Software
If you’re like me, then you have about 230 GB of photos organized meticulously by date, time, place and event. One thing is missing from my obsessive scheme: keywords. I’ve only fairly recently began tagging my photos with keywords in the hopes of making searches easier. Going through current photo gigs and tagging is already a cumbersome pain. Going through all my past photos and tagging them pushes me into a weeping despair… especially all those group shots.
Luckily, facial recognition software is starting to become popular. Check out Riya. I need the equivalent of this for Adobe Lightroom.
Of course, the big-brother implications of this are huge. There’s always a cost.
