411 Powered by Google
I’m probably just behind the times, but Google Labs is powering up a 411 system voice application. I gave it a try. It worked like you’d expect from Google. Call the 800 number, say a city, a business. They’ll connect you or you can get details verbally or via SMS. Solves those, “If only I had the number…” moments when I’m too cheap to use Verizon’s 411 service.
To try this service, just dial 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411) from any phone.
