  1. I didn’t get a pager until I was out of college, at my first job, and only because they *required* it. Terminally connected youth are a bizarre sub-species… a self-leashed populace. Orwell would be proud! :)

  2. I truly believe we’re approaching a cultural/technological singularity of sorts. With each passing generation, the acceleration towards this singularity increases. The previous generation gets left further and further behind as the chasm forming in-between opens its ever-widening maw.
