WebOS Review

Being a web application developer and dealing with browser (in)compatibility all too often, the idea of interacting with a pseudo-operating system within the confines of a browser doesn’t sound too appealing to me. I have to take my hat off to these developers, though, for taking the challenge.
Check out this review of twenty WebOSes (yes, twenty… I had no idea there were even this many).
Most of these offerings are Flash-based which gets you past most of the compatibility issues with browsers. They range from simple to complex (like the one pictured above which features the equivalent of a Linux LiveCD).
