Ultimate iPod Protector: A Zune!

So you have an iPod, and you love it. Of course you do. The only problem is, so does everyone else. iPods have become so popular that iPod theft is becoming a real problem. So how do you protect your precious new iPod (or iPhone)? Simple: hide it in a crappy Microsoft product that no one would want to buy or even steal. Yes, that’s right, for the low price of $29.95 you can have a custom case for your iPod or iPhone made from the gutted remains of one of Microsoft’s failed entries into the MP3 Player market.

  1. The Zune is a nice piece of hardware and does a few more things that the iPod can’t. It’s just a case of “Too little, too late” for MS.

    Yeah yeah yeah…

There’s a chink in my MS Fanboy Armor.

  2. Seriously. The Zune isn’t a bad product, and is actually a very nice, quality music player. It’s just… well… sort of ugly. :)

  3. Oh, and a better option for not being mugged for your iPod is just not to use the terrible quality, white headphones that come with it. Buy a nice set of Shure or Etymotics ear-canal phones and enjoy much, much, much better sounding music (seriously, it’s not even comparible) without the Steal Me White coloring. :)

  4. heh, had MS just made iPod cases they would have made more dinero than they have in the Zune. Check out the hide-a-pod site, hilarious…
