Think before you play that DVD
Wow!!!
According to this, it’s better to actually interact & read with your child than it is to just plop them down in front of a TV?!?
Who knew?!?

Seriously, duh! Okay, so I play these type of movies for my little girl, but when I do, I sit down and participate with her. We talk about the toys and animals shown, what they are doing and dance or sing to the music playing. I’ll admit, when I really need some time to be left alone, one of these movies is a great way to be left alone while I get a little bit of veg time.
I must say that these movies are a great way to introduce babies and toddlers to new things. When they do see them in real life, they have a picture and the vocabulary to go with it.
