Is this the trend nowadays for PDAs?

Web based applications like IM Clients.

In the olden days, on my last PDA I had to:

- Buy the App on-line

- Download the App to my computer

- Then Sync the App to my PDA

Now from my iPhone, I just point Safari to iphone.beejive.com
