My thumbs hurt just thinking about it…
Day Of The Warrior “Heavenly Sword” Part 5
Oh…
Did I mention this game will be released next week, September 12 =D
Smile Measuring Software

It’s good to know that there’s a company out there that is dedicated to writing software that will determine whether you have a consistent >90% smile. Odd. Very odd.
On the flip side, I can imagine this software being handy for baby portraits. You can set a minimum trigger threshold of 80% perhaps so that the camera will fire during that 0.25 seconds of smile the baby will give you after a successful bowel movement.
A Different Definition of Telecommuting
It’s one thing to telecommute by SSH’ing or VPN’ing into work. It’s another thing to send a friggin robot into work so you can remotely taunt your co-workers.
The Justice Department is Against Net Neutrality
The issue of Net Neutrality is still a hot topic. The Justice Department recently told the Federal Communications Commission that it opposes Net Neutrality.
Should ISPs be able to charge you for tiered access to particular websites? It’s like the cable TV model: you’ll pay a premium price to have high-speed access to big websites (like Google for example). What do you think?
Quicksilver Overview by Quicksilver Creator
I’m a total believer in keyboard-based application launchers. Keeping your hands on the keyboard is the peak of efficiency (for now). Quicksilver is a must-have application for Mac users. Google made a tech video of Quicksilver’s creator (now a Google employee) giving an overview of Quicksilver.
Lifehacker has a great collection of beginner, intermediate and advanced guides.
RIP Luciano Pavarotti
One of the greatest tenors of our generation succumbed to pancreatic cancer at 5am this morning. His renditions of operatic favorites such as Puccini’s Nessun Dorma are considered platinum standards by which all other renditions are measured.
You will be missed.
When Consolidation goes wrong, Linksys WCG200 Wireless-G Cable Gateway/Router
I hate this thing and I’m not the only one.
This “Hunk-O-Junk” is useless when used Wirelessly. For some reason this thing drops the internet connection every time I download or upload a file. It also happens when I’m gaming on-line.
I’ve called both Linksys & Comcast Tech Support and read all the user forums to no avail.
This may not be the place, but… Any thoughts?
In the mean time I’ll be wired. I just hope I don’t have to resort to buying one of these which defeats the purpose of “Consolidation”
