Proper socialization requires time and effort, just like academics achievement must be purposefully pursued.  Think of your &quot;socialization&quot; now that most of us work full time.  What percentage of your social life involves exclusively the people you work with?  If parents take their child&#039;s development serious enough to be involved in the selection of the school program they will probably also be involved in getting their kids out with other kids.  (Yes, not everyone will.  Some people are just bad parents)]]></description>

Yeah, it&#039;s a virtual school, but maybe she would have done better in a quality private school as well.  In any case, I think that at least some socialization is a good idea lest we raise a generation of online introverts.]]></description>
