3D Animation of Still Photos, Nightmares Ensue
MotionPortrait is software that can create a 3D model of a still photograph and then animate it. The technology is amazing to me, but I have to admit that it freaks me out a little bit. Imagine when this software matures. Someone could take your photo and then create video messages of your likeness. Of course, they’d have to recreate your voice, too.
