Michael Fremer (p. right) has openly accepted James Randi’s (p. left) million dollar speaker cable challenge. Any bets on what the outcome will be?

Nice! I’ll have to watch this one closely. I’m very curious to see the outcome. If a difference *can* be observed between cheap and expensive cables, I wonder if it will be a night-and-day difference, or something more subtle. In other words, is there a multi-thousand dollar difference, or something far less worthy?
I’d also like to see a “layman” take the test along with Fremer.
It looks like Pear is chickening out of the challenge.
Oooooo… chickens! But I guess I can appreciate the concern on their part. It would indeed suck if Randy’s test was rigged or not done properly. As much as I’d like to see regular cables win the day, I’d still like to know if the expensive cables did indeed sound better.
What surprised me is that “The Amazing Randi” is now branching out and debunking non-paranormal claims.
Man, this just gets even more convoluted.
