Religious wars aside, Apple does have the market on aesthetics and usability by a long shot. I’ve successfully converted my family into Mac users, and you know what? The “tech-support” calls have been reduced to almost nil.
Anything that passes the parental usability test is golden to me.
I’ve actually had a great experience with the Apple “Mighty Mouse” in that picture. They finally seem to be on the verge of accepting that normal people want the ability to right-click (though you have to change the settings to activate it; by default the right mouse button is still mapped to left-click), and the little scroll “nub” is great, as it allows scrolling vertically AND horizontally, just like the two-touch scrolling on the Macbook touchpads. Now I just wish they made a silver one that would aesthetically match with the Macbook Pros and new iMacs…
