Wait, so you can't "tether" your laptop to an unhacked iPhone? Are you serious? I've tethered my MacBook to my Nokia N95 (running Symbian OS) and my HTC 3125 (running Windows Mobile) easily with no issues at all, via USB and Bluetooth. I'm... well... I'm astounded at the things I keep hearing about the iPhone and what Apple doesn't let you do.
