New Lead Singer of Journey
I’m a big Journey Fan (Favorite Band of All Time) and a Steve Perry Fan so when I heard this from my sister I was more that a bit skeptical.
Then I saw this You Tube Video. This guy is actually good. =D
His name is Arnel Pineda

If you haven’t picked up their new CD, Revelations yet, you need to check it out. It is damn good.
As a fan of the true Journey…Steve Perry’s Journey…I am disgusted at the way they treated Steve when he had to have his hip surgery. I have no doubt that with Steve Perry they could have been just as big as they were in the 80′s. I have a 16 year old son and he and all of his friends love Journey-the real Journey-not the knock-off. Now they can forget ever headlining major venues again and have to be content being in “80′s concerts” with other has-beens, using second rate posers who will never compare to the flawless and matchless voice of Steve Perry. I wouldn’t pay five cents to see them and every one I know who grew up with Journey feels the same way. You blew it Neal and Jonathan. You’ve turned Journey into a cheap side show and your main draw is seeing which clown sounds the most like Steve. Keep trying though I’m sure you’re making a few bucks here and there.
To the “True Journey Fan”. I agree with you on all your points except calling Pineda a clown. Call me biased because I’m Pilipino but I got to show love for a fellow Pinoy.
Steve will always be the heart of Journey and anyone else as front man just makes Journey a cover band.
