Advanced Screen Capture Options in Leopard

Screencapture

Mac OS X has great built-in screen capture shortcuts. If you haven’t already figured them out, here’s a quick list:

  • Cmd-Shift-3 captures your entire screen (from all monitors as separate files)
  • Cmd-Shift-4 allows you to highlight a section of the screen to capture.
  • Holding Spacebar allows you to drag your selection box around just in case you missed your mark when highlighting.
  • Holding Shift locks the horizontal or vertical axis when sizing your selection box.
  • Holding Option changes the origin point of the selection box to the center of the selection box (as opposed to the corner)

You can see a video of this in action at MacUser.

Color Electronic Paper

Well… yeah!
