Now that most of you have finished your taxes (hopefully), I’m curious as to whether you did them via computer software (e.g. TurboTax, etc.) or via a human accountant. Lifehacker’s Gina Trapani did a comparison this year of the two methods.
Personally, I’ve been using TurboTax for the past few years, but I have to admit that regardless of all the wizards and help screens, I still question whether I filled out certain portions correctly. I’m told that in general, hiring an accountant is more expensive, but when you think about it, you’re paying for your ease of mind.
