The ship looks awesome–it even has a tiny bit of retro styling, though it reminds me a bit of the 1701-C. The so-called “iBridge” (the bridge is very “Apple”) is another story–not sure what I think about that.
I think it’ll come down to just how seriously we take the movie. I expect it to be like Hitch Hiker’s–entertaining on its own, not a “bad” movie, but I doubt it’ll live up to its heritage. So long as we don’t go into this new trek expecting much, I think it’ll be fun. The retro thing (yes, even mini-skirts for female officers!) I think will be fun.

I like it!! It looks a lot more sturdy than the original series NCC-1701. I think it would look a bit better though is the Warp Nacell arms were a little more forward so that they would be attached to the more beefy part of the engineering section and slanted slightly back, a little more like the NCC-1701A but I recognize that they wanted to try and keep it looking more like TOS ship. I hope that NX-01 will make an appearance!
I wonder if it has saucer separation option?
