When is a Gun Not a Gun?
According to federal a federal code, the “gun” pictured above is not a gun, and as such was deemed as inadmissible for evidence in a recent court case.
From US Code: Title 18,921. Definitions:
(16) The term “antique firearm” means—
(A) any firearm (including any firearm with a matchlock, flintlock, percussion cap, or similar type of ignition system) manufactured in or before 1898; or
