Job Summary

is to shape the regulatory environment to optimize stc’s position and to be aware of international economic changes and technological innovations, in order to create recommendations for stc’s future positioning, products and services. this job family also constitutes jobs, which ensure that stc carries out an effective lobbying operation to influence regulatory decisions as dictated by the communications and information technology commission, (citc).

Core Responsibilities

  • Review internal policies and processes to ensure adherence to existing rules and regulations and to prevent potential violations.
  • Provide input into regulatory risk identification cycle with Regulatory Planning team.
  • Assess regulatory risks and develop treatment plans with BUs/FUs for identified risks.
  • Follow-up and monitor adherence and execution of treatment plans, to proactively reduce the risk of non-compliance.
  • Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep senior management informed of the progress of regulatory compliance efforts.

  • Regularly analyze root-cause for non-compliance to identify and implement corrective measures.
  • Institute and maintain an effective communication and training program for regulatory compliance, including awareness campaigns and training workshops about regulatory topics.
  • Proactively raise the need to influence rules and regulations that place further compliance requirements on STC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law/ Business administration.
  • Master’s degree in Law/ Business administration.

Experience
