I just saw the trailer for a video game that looks like it would stretch your mind. The game name is “Crush”. The game takes place in a 3D world, but the puzzles can only be solved by crushing the world into a 2D plane.
Binary Marble Adder
I saw this over at the MAKE magazine blog. Someone has built a 6 bit adding machine for marbles. This looks like a great way to introduce someone to the world of binary circuits.
Musical Tesla Coil
Someone has rigged up a tesla coil to make music. That’s right, the tones you hear are actually being made by the sparks off of the coil. Ahh, high voltage and music combined at last.
