Some CBSE- schools in the UAE are showing keen interest and joining an orientation course on non-violent communication.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched the course to mark the 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It will be rolled out officially on October 10.

Bushra Mansoor, headmistress, Springdales School Dubai, said: “We are still awaiting information from CBSE about the details of the course. However, the refresher programme on the teachings of Gandhi will instil the values and principles of the Gandhian way in the students. This learning will leave an impact on their thinking and actions that will decide their way of life which will be beneficial for the society as a whole.”

Ambika Gulati, principal, The Millennium School – Dubai, underlined: “The course is to be launched on October 10 and will have webinars and materials that will be shared with registered participants. after successful completion of the course, certificates will be awarded to those who pursue the course.
