The Justice Department is Against Net Neutrality

The issue of Net Neutrality is still a hot topic. The Justice Department recently told the Federal Communications Commission that it opposes Net Neutrality.

Should ISPs be able to charge you for tiered access to particular websites? It’s like the cable TV model: you’ll pay a premium price to have high-speed access to big websites (like Google for example). What do you think?

  1. Ugh, I just can’t believe that a tiered Internet could possibly be even close to a good thing. If the government actively says, “Hey, charge whatever you want,” I fear it’ll go the same way the energy market in California went after deregulation. That certainly worked out… well.
