Honda CR-Z Hybrid Concept

This car looks fan-friggin’-tabulous. This is how all hybrids should look. I’m wondering if this is the follow up to the Honda Civc CRX. I noticed there’s no Honda Civic CRY model in the works–no clue why that is.

  1. Nice! I’m with you. Sporty, great looking hybrids just make sense! There is an entire category of driver who’d be totally willing to own a hybrid if only they weren’t boring little jelly beans (myself included!).

  2. That thing looks like it should have laser cannons below the front grill.

I would love to be at a place financially where I could have an ultra-efficient (but still sporty) car for long trips, and a more traditionally efficient very-fun-to-drive car (i.e. my current car) for other occasions.

If/when I do get a hybrid to replace or compliment my car, it’ll probably look like this. With laser cannons. Wait, are those maybe not fuel efficient? Ethanol canons maybe?

  3. I’d be really interested in getting a used VW Bug Turbo Diesle. With a few modification it can run on used fry oil. You know the used oil from fast food restaurants like MacDolanalds.

  4. I know I know… This post is about Hybrids. But you have to admit using somthing like spent fry oil as fuel is very very cool. It doesn’t even have to be used oil either, you can go to CostCo and get thoses giant jugs of cooking oil and used that as Bio-Diesle.
